Hotel worker warned of shooter before Las Vegas massacre

The Las Vegas gunman opened fire on a security guard six minutes before he rained down bullets on a crowd and killed 58 people, officials said on Monday in a change to the timeline of the deadliest mass shooting in modern USA history.

MGM Resorts International spokeswoman Debra DeShong said the company believes "what is now being expressed may not be accurate".

Last week, 58 people were killed and almost 500 were injured after Stephen Paddock sprayed bullets across a crowd from the 32nd-floor window of the Mandalay Bay hotel.

The police officers who responded to Stephen Paddock's room tell the CBS program "60 Minutes" that they used a pry bar to open the door after he screwed a piece of metal on it. On Monday, they said the guard actually was wounded six minutes before Paddock started the massacre. "We believe what is now being expressed may not be accurate".

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie suspended after he leaves Giants
The Giants starting 0-5 is hard enough but it now seems that they could be dealing with some internal problems in the locker room. Coach Ben McAdoo told reporters that the 0-5 Giants will suspend Rodgers-Cromartie, but did not provide any other information.

"Our officers got there as fast as they possibly could and they did what they were trained to do", Las Vegas assistant sheriff Todd Fasulo said earlier Tuesday. "Someone's firing a rifle on the 32nd floor down the hallway".

Nicole Rapp, whose mother was knocked to the ground and trampled at the country music concert said she's "having a hard time wrapping my head around" why police changed the timeline of the shooting. Why has it been nearly 24 hours after the event and we don't know of any motives?

In the recording, you hear the first shots Paddock fired from his Las Vegas hotel room in an emergency call from a hotel engineer.

"This individual purposely hid his actions leading up to this event, and it is hard for us to find the answers", said Lombardo, who said he was frustrated with the speed of the investigation.
