Chester Bennington Calls Filming 'Carpool Karaoke' 'Greatest Day Of His Life'


The episode of Apple Music'sCarpool Karaoke series that Linkin Park taped less than a week before singer Chester Bennington's death has hit the web, and let's just say Ken Jeong is stoked to be a part of it.

Linkin Park had filmed the episode with actor Ken Jeong, just six days before Chester took his own life in July of this year. What follows is a fun and amusing journey as the group sings along to favorites from Linkin Park (naturally), Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more. The episode was not initially set to air out of respect for Bennington's wife and family, but it was finally decided it was time to see the fun-filled and enjoyable show starring the late singer.

At one point, Bennington tells Jeong, "this is probably the greatest day of my life".

Bennington died at age 41 after being found in his Southern California home.

Corden's message was appreciated by Bennington's widow, Talinda - who thanked him for his words on Twitter.

At the start of the video, Jeong jokes that he had a dream he joined the band and renamed it "LinKEN Park".

Linkin Park will hold a benefit concert in honor of Bennington October 27 in Los Angeles.
