Andy Cohen replaces Kathy Griffin on CNN's New Year's Eve show


Andy Cohen is set to replace Kathy Griffin as Anderson Cooper's "New Year's Eve Live" co-host on CNN. 49-year-old Cohen tweeted.

Griffin took enormous heat, including an investigation by the Secret Service, for her stunt with photographer Tyler Shields, where she was shot holding what looked like the president's severed, bloody head.

They will bring the show to New York City on January 26 and 27 at the Beacon Theatre.
