Honor 7X launched with dual rear cameras, 18:9 display in China

The Honor 7X comes with a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

As announced earlier, Honor launched its second smartphone with FullView display called Honor 7X today in China.

Given the Honor 6X was released in India, we expect to see Honor 7X to launch in the country as well. On the front, the device sports an 8MP secondary camera. The Honor 7X features a duo of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear cameras, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It's powered by an eight-core Kirin 659 processor bundled with Mali-T830 GPU for graphics. It comes with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of internal storage variants which can also be expanded via MicroSD upto 256GB.

Coming to the cameras, the Honor 7X features a dual rear sensor. The phones metal body measures 7.6mm thick and weighs 165g. It has a 3,340mAh battery and a microUSB port (sigh).

The Honor 7X with 32GB internal storage is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 12,890), whereas the 64GB model is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 16,850), with the top-of-the-line model with 128GB storage priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,820). Besides, an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner are also on its back panel just below the camera setup. The smartphone also support Huawei's SuperCharge fast charging technology using the 9V/2A (18W) power adapter. The Honor 7X also supports dual SIM dual standby using the hybrid SIM card slot.

According to Honor, the 7X will be offered in Gold, Blue and Black colours.

It is now available to pre-order and the sales will begin from October 17th. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and has the Huawei Emotion UI 5.1 (EMUI) user interface. The Honor 7X will soon go on sale in the U.S, India, and Europe.
