In a statement to Bustle, Nelly's attorney denies the allegation, calling it "completely fabricated". He said that he is confident that when the incident is investigated with due scrutiny, there will be no charges against his client.
Scott Rosenblum, a lawyer for the rapper, said Saturday afternoon that Nelly was no longer in custody and had not been charged.
