Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has echoed the thoughts of many people when talking about PSG, who he thinks now have the squad to win the Champions League.

France were 1-0 up and looking comfortable before Kante was taken off, and Deschamps admits his withdrawal affected Les Blues somewhat.

France national team manager Didier Deschamps confirmed the injury and ruled him out of Tuesday's (10 October) showdown against Belarus.

"No, I can't count on him for the next game", he told a news conference. You need balance. Kante has a very important role. "After N'Golo's injury, Adrien Rabiot came on in the same role, maybe not with the same quality as N'Golo".

According to Goal, there is now a concern that Kante could be out for Chelsea's upcoming fixtures.

Striker Alvaro Morata is also nursing a hamstring injury and midfielder Danny Drinkwater has yet to make his first appearance since signing from Leicester City due to a calf problem.

There are no guarantees Kante will be ready to play for Chelsea when the global break is over, and if, as feared, he has suffered a hamstring injury, Kante could be out of action for over a month.
