Rouhani Lashes Back at Trump, as Iran Unveils New Missile

On Friday, the Iranian armed forces commemorated the 1980-1988 war with Iraq by holding a parade in which Iran's most advanced military power and abilities are showcased.

Iran says all of its missiles are created to carry conventional warheads only and has limited their range to a maximum of 2,000 km, although commanders say they have the technology to go further.

During the parade on Friday, Tehran also displayed other ballistic missiles, which reportedly have a range of 1,300-2,000 km.

Iran's state media showed video on Saturday of the successful test-launch, saying the missile had a range of 2000km.

He also criticized the 2015 pact that the United States and other world powers struck with Iran under which Tehran agreed to restrict its nuclear program in return for relief from economic sanctions.

The test firing is likely to fuel tensions with Washington.

Iran says it's successfully tested a new ballistic missile with a range of 2,000 KM.

But it also has said that Iran's missile program violates the spirit of the nuclear agreement. "Not much of an agreement we have".

Jared Kushner used private email for White House business
There is no indication that Mr Kushner shared classified or privileged information through his private email account. Courts ruled Clinton violated government policy by using the server, though she was never charged with any crime.

Trump's comments on anthem, Curry resonate across sports
Among them was Houston Texans owner Robert McNair, who called the president's remarks " divisive and counterproductive". And the president has a similar suggestion for fans of the sport: walk out of the stadium in protest.

Tom Brady appears to support Aaron Rodgers' message of unity
Now, we'll have to wait and see if that show of support actually carries over from social media to the field. Respect. "I met him probably 15, 16 years ago", Brady said of Trump .

Rouhani has said that the Trump administration is seeking "an excuse" to pull out of the landmark 2015 nuclear agreement that capped Iran's nuclear activities in return for the lifting of worldwide sanctions on Iran.

"Not much of an agreement we have!" the President added in his tweet, apparently alluding to the agreement signed in 2015 between Tehran and six worldwide powers, including the United States, on Iran's nuclear programme.

"We will certainly reinforce our own protection in addition to army capacities ... regardless of whether you desire it or not", Rouhani mentioned, a direct reaction to Trump's dialog in the United nations General Assemblage recently.
We will not seek permission from anyone to defend our country.

The Khorramshahr is a long-range ballistic missile that can carry multiple warheads.

President Hassan Rouhani made the statements at a military parade in Tehran in direct defiance of USA demands.

The US has placed a number of sanctions on Iranian individuals, businesses and institutions in response to its missile tests.

But Rouhani ruled out any change of policy in the region.
