Manchester United must overcome Paul Pogba injury blow, says Gary Neville

Paul Pogba has cited Michael Carrick and Paul Scholes as his main role models during his time as a Manchester United player.

The former Juventus man left Old Trafford on crutches after picking up the injury against Basel last week but his flexibility seems to have returned this week. In his latest upload, the midfielder, known for his comic character, was seen dancing away, much to the joy of fellow teammate Axel Tuanzebe, who was filming the antics of United's record signing.

However, just 19 minutes into a Champions League game against Basel, Pogba went off with a hamstring problem, and rumours circulated that he could be out for a lengthy period of time.

The Red Devils did well against Everton on Sunday in the absence of Pogba, as they put four past the Merseyside club. The Frenchman has suffered a lot of criticism previous year after his then world record move to United from Juventus.

Pogba is one of the most high profile players in the Premier League but the 24-year-old is constantly seeking to improve and is aiming to emulate the success enjoyed at United by both Scholes and Carrick.

Paul Pogba started the season in very good form.

Pogba immediately signalled to the bench that it was serious, with Jose Mourinho suggesting he would miss a "few weeks".

"It's going to be very hard, but the coach knows how to make up for that and we're going to help him come back stronger".

United are next in action against Burton Albion in the Caraboa Cup tonight (8pm).
