Candidates of major political parties included Begum Kalsoom Nawaz from Pakistan Muslim League (N), Faisal Mir from Pakistan People's Party and Dr. Yasmeen Rashid from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
"Some 30,000 voters will be polling their votes on biometric machines", Dawn reported.

The names of contenders with their symbols for NA-120 are: Aajasim Sharif (emergency light), Arshad Mehmood Butt (coins), Ameer Bahadur Khan Hoti (lantern), Inamullah Khan (oil tanker), Muhammad Khurram (medal), Tayyab Jamil (goat), Pervez Akhter Gujjar (pressure cooker), Jawed Yousaf (bottle), Hasnain Gondal (lighter). Both these candidates have big following on the basis of their respective school of thought and this election will also give them count of the respective vote bank for their future politics.
