"It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Wilde Lake High School teacher Ms. Laura Wallen was found deceased tonight by Montgomery County Police".

Wallen's sister received a text from her on Labor Day, but police believe that message was sent by Tessier.

Montgomery County Police Chief Thomas Manger will hold a news conference at 8 p.m. Wednesday to provide more details about the arrest and the investigation.

Wallen's family and friends became alarmed last week when she didn't show up for the first day of classes at Wilde Lake High School in Columbia.

Police said Tessier is the father of Wallen's baby.
