Tereasa Martin, the mother of Kenneka Jenkins, is furious with the Rosemont, Chicago police over the way they initially handled the death investigation for her daughter.

"I believe someone in this hotel killed my child", Martin said.

A Facebook Live video appeared to show Jenkins sitting on a bed in a hotel room, surrounded by others, according to the Chicago Tribune. Her sister alleges to have last spoken to Jenkins via text at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Jenkins' body was found in the walk-in freezer Sunday, about 24 hours after concerned relatives contacted the hotel and police. They said, 'Only you and your daughter can see her and you can't take pictures because this is a crime scene'. Gary Mack, a spokesman for the village of Rosemont spoke with the Chicago Tribune and said police have identified everyone in the video.

"Yes, they've looked at it and continue to look at it and all the other social media videos and posts", Mack told the Tribune on Monday.

In addition, a Facebook Live video taken by Roberts has been circulating online and has been viewed millions of times.

She was headed to the hotel for a party, Jenkins' sister Leonore Harris told authorities while filing a missing person complaint Saturday afternoon.

Jenkins' mother, Teresa Martin, reportedly got a call from her daughters' friends around 4 a.m. on Saturday in which they said they had lost track of Kenneka and left. "And the young lady with the glasses, she needs to come forward too, cause everyone in there is a suspect-it's just as a simple as that".

According to an Associated Press report, an exit button inside the freezer was supposed to let people open the door if it shut behind them, but authorities found it sometimes faulty. Mack said he's unsure if the freezer had been turned on. The title read, "Best friend of Kenneka Jenkins attempting suicide on camera".

Mack told the Tribune, "I don't think anything has been ruled in or ruled out at this point". "If it was unused, I don't know". She went missing a short time later.

#KennekaJenkins Sick! Bernard Ridley Monifah and Irene.all knew what was going down! Mack said he's not sure if the freezer had been turned on, and investigators are not saying who found the body. "Maybe there was something wrong, but I asked God, not death".

Some believe Jenkins' death is a result of foul play, but police have yet to confirm how they're investigating the incident.

Steven Shapiro, director of the hospitality and tourism law program at American University's Washington College of Law, said hotel managers are reluctant to intrude upon their guests' privacy, even when someone from the outside indicates there might be an emergency. "If she had enough strength to open that freezer door, she would have had enough strength to walk straight".

Police have also declined to disclose whether Jenkins' body showed signs of trauma.
