Thanks to the removal of the front propeller shaft and front axle driveshafts the R8 V10 RWS sheds 50kg compared to the all-paw version, resulting in a 1590kg kerb weight and improving the power to weight rations to 4.0kg per kW next to the quattro model's 1640kg weight and 4.1kg per kW stats. The coup is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100kmph in mere 3.7seconds while the Spyder can sprint in around 3.8seconds. Since 2000, Audi won the 24 Hours of Le Mans 13 times with rear-wheel drive (or part-time hybrid all-wheel drive) cars. But we're sure it makes up for this every time you turn in a sharp corner.

The sideblades are also split in color, with the upper half being gloss black and the bottom half being body color. There will also be an optional red film running over the hood, roof and rear end. With production limited, it will be interesting to see how many units are allotted for India. The sport bucket seats can be had as well, while the Alcantara ones come as standard. Orders will start in Autumn of 2017 in Europe, with no word on any US-bound models, and deliveries will start in early 2018.
