Welbeck helps Arsenal bounce back well to trounce Bournemouth

Arsenal's four home meetings with Bournemouth in all competitions have all ended in victory, with the most recent being a 3-1 win in November last season.

Arsene Wenger has won more Premier League matches at Arsenal (459 of 794 games) than the other 19 managers in the competition have won in the competition at their current clubs combined.

But the Gunners were unconvincing in a 4-3 win against Leicester City in their top-flight opener after Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud scored late goals to overturn the lead.

On 50 minutes, Eddie Howe's side would find themselves 3-0 down, with Welbeck scoring from a very tight angle.

"Well, I believe that we were on the case past year", Wenger was quoted as saying by Sky Sports ahead of Saturday's English Premier League (EPL) home game against Bournemouth.

Sanchez started in Arsenal's calamitous 4-0 loss at the hands of Liverpool, the last game before the worldwide break, and the Chilean's body language suggested that he was ready to throw in the towel and leave the Emirates.

The Gunners' boss is expected to make changes to his team after the departure of Oxlade Chamberlain who started all of Arsenal's games before switching to Liverpool, and youngster Reiss Nelson is being tipped to earn a place in the starting lineup.

"I think he [Welbeck] gets stronger and stronger".

Wenger chose not to pick Jack Wilshere against the club he spent the majority of last season at before breaking his leg.

The Gunners haven't suffered three successive Premier League defeats since January 2012. A great finish from Welbeck with his weak left foot on the ground across Asmir Begovic's goal.

He said:"We want to do well in Europe and we will put out a team that can win the game on Thursday".

"On the flipside, the guys who don't get any action don't really train at any intensity because they are preparing for matches and a lot of the worldwide stuff is tactical".
