Flacco makes progress, but Ravens lose OL Lewis for season

Quarterback Joe Flacco will not play in any preseason games, but is expected to be under center for Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 10.

The franchise quarterback will return to practice in the preseason, though the timing of that was not specified.

Meanwhile, the Ravens say offensive lineman Alex Lewis will miss the 2017 season with a shoulder injury. Backups Josh Woodrum and Dustin Vaughan combined to go 5-for-5 for 95 yards and a touchdown in Baltimore's 23-3 exhibition win.
