Andrew Luck's injury timetable remains a mystery.

He was later seen on crutches while watching his teammates practice.

We've known for quite some time that the Los Angeles Rams would open their season against Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.

A report by CBS-4's Mike Chappell later indicated Kelly injured his foot and will miss "a few weeks".

"We'll adjust", Caldwell said. "These two days against Detroit I think will be a real test against their front line, and we'll get a good gauge for where we are at with the O-line".

With Kelly out, rookie and Warren Central High School grad Deyshawn Bond worked at center with the starting unit.

Veteran Brian Schwenke was signed as a free agent from the Tennessee Titans to compete along the interior and potentially serve as Kelly's primary backup.

Kelly, 24, reportedly suffered a leg injury in practice and had to use a golf cart to get off the field.
