Billie Lourd Will Inherit $6.8 Million From Late Mother Carrie Fisher's Will

Carrie Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd stands to inherit almost $7m (£5.4m) following her mother's tragic death, new court documents have revealed.

In new court documents filed by the Star Wars actress' estate executor, it was noted that Billie Lourd will inherit $6.8 million in property owned by her late mother, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Further details of Carrie Fisher's estate were also unveiled in these court documents, which were acquired by People.

The "Scream Queens" actress is Fisher's only child from her relationship with talent executive Bryan Lourd. Those intellectual property rights include proceeds from Fisher's books, specials, trademarks and copyrights. Fisher shared her estate with her mother, Debbie Reynolds, who died a day after her on December 28, 2016.

Fisher's estate that she shared with her late mother Debbie Reynolds is also up for sale for $18 million with the proceeds from that sale likely to be incorporated into the trust for Lourd.

Fisher suffered a medical emergency while on a commercial flight from London to Los Angeles on December 23. She was rushed from her flight to hospital but later died.
