Bandai Namco has revealed its first DLC guest star character for Tekken 7 (discounting Akuma who's already in the game, of course) will be Geese Howard from SNK's Fatal Fury series.

Fans are still waiting for Bandai Namco to bring back some of the older characters but instead of doing that, they made a decision to add in the new Geese Howard, a character from Fatal Fury. Fatal Fury fans will have to wait a while to play as him, as he won't officially join the playable roster until this coming winter.

Harada encourages video game fans to suggest more characters as DLC guest fighters with names like Kazuma Kiryu, Chun-Li, Dante and Kyo Kusanagi. It was time to reveal a new character.

Tekken 7 is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Howard appears to be part of the plan for Tekken 7's downloadable content, alongside the previous announcement that Tekken Bowl would be making a return to the game.

While the exact price and the release date is still unknown, gaming fans are thrilled at the idea of bringing back a classic game mode to give more variety to the sequel other than fighting online and customizing character outfits. As one of the most relevant characters of the SNK universe, he appeared in The King of Fighters games in several roles.
