Manchester United seem relaxed about the speculation linking their supreme goalkeeper David De Gea with a move to Real Madrid, with reports claiming the Spanish Champions could be back with a bid.

Following United's 5-2 victory over LA Galaxy on the weekend, Jose Mourinho's side are now preparing to face Real Salt Lake on Tuesday before taking on rivals Manchester City in a pre-season friendly.

'I even started to think I'd be playing with Morata.

"I am nobody to talk about a player who is not from my team".

The club tried to sell Álvaro Morata as well and United were interested at first.

Chelsea continue to be linked with a number of striking options, with Andrea Belotti of Torino, Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Manchester City star Sergio Aguero all being pursued.

The club's sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has now suggested that the two clubs are a little further apart in their negotiations but admits Milan would be very happy to add the Real hitman to their ranks if an agreement can be reached.

Asked what he thought would happen with De Gea this summer, the former Madrid youth player said there would be no movement. Normally they need some time to adapt and Lukaku plays in Premier League for the last four or five seasons.

Morata, who has struggled to earn a regular place in the Real Madrid starting XI since returning to Santiago Bernabeu last season, has since emerged as Chelsea's preferred option to replace Diego Costa, who has been told by head coach Antonio Conte that he can leave the club.

However, Mata is confident that his compatriot will snub the overtures of Real Madrid to remain at Old Trafford.

"I believe [De Gea] is going to stay [at United]", Mata said.
