Leak reveals Xiaomi 5X with Snapdragon 625 SoC, 5.5-inch display


Xiaomi is now rumored to launch a new sub-brand this month. Additionally, the smartphone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM.

After gaining huge success of the Redmi 4, now it seems like the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is expected to launch the successor of its best-selling Redmi 4, which is rumoured to be called the "Redmi 5" in China pretty soon.

Perhaps surprisingly, the Xiaomi 5X is rumored to be sold in a significantly higher-end configuration too, packing Snapdragon 660 punch and a whopping 6GB RAM.

As per the leak, Xiaomi Mi 5X will be equipped with 5.5-inches Full HD display with 1080 pixels resolution. But there's no official confirmation by the company as of now.

A new leaked poster of Xiaomi 5X has appeared online. The Mi 5X according to the poster will be priced at RMB 1999 which is roughly Rs. 19,000. Xiaomi 5X aka Xiaomi X1 has been subjected to several leaks and rumours already and hints that the device may come with dual-camera setup, antenna lines, and LED flash, which will be placed right next to the dual cameras at the back. If the leaked poster is to be believed, there are a lot of features to be talked about, but since the image looks like an ad, we can not confirm the accuracy of the same.
