Ever since it was announced that a Mary Poppins sequel was in the works, we have been counting down the days till its official release.

The movie release might be more than a year away, but Disney is already getting fans excited about Mary Poppins Returns, the sequel to the 1964 original with Emily Blunt taking on the iconic role of Mary Poppins. And we will see Mary Poppins return to the now grownup Jane Banks, Michael Banks, and his three children after they suffer a personal loss.

The teaser of the film was released recently and much like Mary Poppins says, Emily Blunt looks "practically ideal from head to toe".

Lin Manuel Miranda, who won the Pulitzer Prize for creating and starring in Broadway's historical, hip-hop musical Hamilton, will play a new character named Jack, a street lamplighter.
