British royals arrive in Poland at start of a European Union visit

This is William and Kate's first official joint trip to Poland and Germany; the Duke, also 35, made an official visit to Germany last summer.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are clearly hyped to be overseas with their parents as they couldn't stop checking out the scene (below) as they deplaned their aircraft.

"The duke and duchess are very much looking forward to this tour and are delighted with the exciting and varied programme that has been put together for it", a Kensington Palace spokesman said.

They joined their parents in Canada past year for an official trip.

Kensington Palace confirmed last month that Prince George and Princess Charlotte would be joining Kate and William's five-day official visit to Poland and Germany.

It won't have any impact on the negotiations.

The visit is not officially tied to British-EU diplomatic relations but British media outlets have dubbed it the "Brexit diplomacy tour".

The couple, along with other members of the royal family, have visited a number of European countries in recent months in what is being called a "Brexit royal charm offensive" as the United Kingdom negotiates its withdrawal from the European Union.

They will also be visiting the Warsaw Rising Museum, dedicated to the 1944 Polish uprising during World War Two.

William and Kate will also meet survivors of the Holocaust and the brutal atrocity of Hitler's occupation.

The royal family will then head to Germany, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel, visit Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, and stroll through a traditional beer garden in Heidelberg.

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, arrived at Warsaw Airport looking picture flawless.

The couple previously faced off in dragon boats in Canada - a race won by William - in America's Cup yachts in Auckland Harbour - where Kate won - and in a sprinting race at Queen Elizabeth Park earlier this year, which they both lost to Prince Harry.
