Kingdom Hearts III Release Date Confirmed for 2018


Recently, the series celebrated its 15th anniversary, and has sold over 24 million units worldwide.

We knew that July's D23 - the year's biggest gathering for news on all things Disney - would bring a new Kingdom Hearts III trailer.

We see Kingdom Hearts hero Sora taking on countless Heartless before he, Goofy and Donald arrive in the Toy Story universe.

Kingdom Hearts creator and video game legend Tetsuya Nomura announced the world on stage, revealing, 'I've always hoped that Toy Story would be part of the Kingdom Hearts series.

Additionally, the trailer showed off some footage of a Toy Story 3 world, featuring characters like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and a decidedly gorgeous outside environment. "The narrative will be an original story exclusive to KINGDOM HEARTS III, and the gameplay will feel characteristic of the 'Toy Story" style and aesthetic.

The much-anticipated addition to the Kingdom Hearts franchise will also take Sora and a cast of Disney companions to the urban setting of San Fransokyo, home of lovable robot Baymax, continuing the events of the animated film Big Hero 6. "Please stay tuned for more details to be revealed soon".
