PDP begins house to house mobilisation in Oyo, celebrates Makarfi's victory


A stalwart of the party and ex-Chairman, Ibadan South West Local Government Area, Mr. Abiodun Adedoja, fondly known as Ekolo made the revelation on Thursday while speaking at a get-together held to celebrate the recent victory of Senator Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic National Chairman of the party.

The PDP Caretaker Committee led by Senator Ahmed Makarfi has been embroiled in a legal tussle in the last 13 months with Senator Sheriff over who to manage the affairs of the party.

In his reaction, Sheriff said he was not sure that Makarfi could be calling for amnesty for him and his group, adding that until he was sure that the former governor made the call, he would not respond.

The Supreme Court will give details of the ruling later... Ali Modu Sheriff and other stakeholders.

The statement further reads: "Following efforts by the Commission to correct the erroneous and misleading information through its social media platforms, some who had no ulterior motive apologized and deleted the post".
