National Football League draft prospect Darren Carrington kicked off team at Oregon

The announcement follows Carrington's DUII arrest on July 1, along with a series of other behavioral issues, documented here.

Ducks coach Willie Taggart announced Friday the dismissal of Darren Carrington from the team. "We will always consider Darren a Duck and support him in any way we can". During his time at Oregon, Carrington was one of the most dynamic receivers in the history of the school. Reaves reached a settlement with the University over his contract and resigned in February.
