Donnie Wahlberg Leaves $2000 Tip at North Carolina Waffle House


In the video, Wahlberg hands out tickets to his New Kids on the Block performance in Charlotte on Thursday night at the Spectrum Center.

The 47-year-old "Blue Bloods" actor posted a selfie with the restaurant staff and a screenshot of the check on social media late Wednesday night. "Thanks to the team at @wafflehouseofficial Charlotte, NC!"

Wahlberg left a $2,000 tip for an $82.50 meal at the Queen City Drive restaurant. The photo has over 34,000 likes.

The "Total Package" tour features New Kid's on the Block, Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul.

This is not the first the first time that Wahlberg has left ample gratuity at a Waffle House. According to a Facebook post by Wahlberg, the waitstaff treated him "like a king", so he made a decision to say thanks by dropping a pretty hefty tip on his relatively small bill.

And for those wondering, the New Kids singer ordered a Waffle House staple: steak, eggs, and bacon.
