A driver who rammed a auto carrying explosives into a police convoy on the Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris has died after the "attempted attack" on security forces, France's interior minister said. There has been no claim of responsibility for the assault.
If confirmed as a deliberate attack, this would be the fifth time this year that police forces have been targeted around the French capital.
