Alabama base on lockdown after possible active shooter report


A lockdown has been lifted at an Alabama military installation, though officials say they are still investigating a possible active shooter incident there.

Gates to the complex were initially closed, however some were reopened, and movement on streets nearby was restricted. He said there was no evidence that any shots were fired.
